In the summer semester 2020, Alexander M. Schmitt-Geiger teaches the field of public affairs at the University of Koblenz-Landau in the master's program "Corporate Communication and Rhetoric" as part of the joint Dr. Perry Reisewitz conducted seminars "Public Relations, Public Affairs and Crisis Communication". CLIMATE SAILOR - SAILING FOR THE CLIMATE

We want to contribute to the climate change discussion and will be traveling around the world with a sailboat and a changing team of sailors, filmmakers, influencers and environmentalists to portray people who have already felt the consequences of climate change. How do these people deal with the loss of their living space and their way of life? What are your solutions? How do you see the future?

With this project we want to draw attention to the extent of climate change that is taking place here and now. Far from Europe and the mass media, we go in search of unique life stories. Stories of loss, transformation and the courage to go into an uncertain future.
