In the summer semester of 2020, Alexander M. Schmitt-Geiger is teaching at the University of Koblenz-Landau in the master's program "Corporate Communication and Rhetoric" as part of the seminar "Public Relations, Public Affairs, and Crisis Communication" conducted jointly with Dr. Perry Reisewitz.
In this program, students acquire a high level of competence in the professional use of online communication—from finding and using services to designing and producing web content to teaching online skills. The program combines fundamentals from computer science, information and communication science, economics, and media didactics.

Starting in the 2014/2015 winter semester, Alexander M. Schmitt-Geiger will also be teaching crisis communication in the media management program at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Munich.

Alexander M. Schmitt-Geiger receives teaching assignments at the Macromedia University for Media and Communication (FH) in Munich. He teaches public affairs and lobbying in the media management program. This bachelor's degree program trains the next generation of media managers. Students learn to develop meaningful and economically viable concepts in companies and organizations, to competently support their implementation, and to evaluate the results.
